DDD, for Dédié au Design Durable, is an online shop that combines style and eco-responsible thinking. You will find home items and practical accessories all selected according to 3 rules and 12 criteria of responsibility. Each product sheet identifies with icons the criteria for which the product have been selected.

Our mission is to inspire people to adopt a lifestyle with less impact on the environment through design. We believe that it is possible to consume better and that being eco-responsible does not mean compromising on style. And if beautiful could also mean be good for the planet?

Behind DDD is Luce Mainguy, a graphic designer and trained manager, passionate about object and product design, formerly artistic director and manager within the Montreal digital industry.

DDD is an idea that has sprung up for a long time in the mind of the founder. After graduation, she will be in London to complete a product design course at Central St-Martins University. At the same time, she discovered ecodesign and the retail world by working at The Conran Shop, from the British designer Terence Conran. She returns to Quebec with the dream of opening her own shop one day.

She will later forge her career in the digital creative industry, but more than 13 years later, her dream of opening a store that would be in line with its values still persists. She finally decides to follow her passion and make the jump to officially launch DDD in March 2018.
