Faber-Castell

Faber-Castell is a pioneering German company in the manufacture of wooden pencils and artistic and writing materials. In business for more than 250 years, it also stands out for its social involvement and ecological responsibility and has FSC certification.

The company supports humanitarian projects to help children, particularly in emerging and developing countries. Faber-Castell owns some 10,000 hectares of forest in Brazil, which absorb up to 900,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO ₂ ), which contributes to their carbon-neutral production. A third of the company's forests remain intact and serve as habitat for some 660 rare animal and plant species. Finally, the company covers 85% of its global energy demand from renewable energy sources.
