Who are we?

DDD, for Dedicated to Sustainable Design, is a concept store whose mission is to inspire people to adopt a lifestyle with less impact on the environment through design. We firmly believe that it is possible to combine style and eco-responsible thinking.

All the products present in our store are selected according to 3 rules and 16 responsibility criteria . You will find everything for home, decoration and gifts, ensuring that these products always have the maximum criteria for each category.

We've done all this research for you, to make shopping easier and save you time. The sheet for each product identifies, using icons, all the responsibility criteria for which it was selected. What if beauty could also be good for the planet?

FOUNDER & HISTORY
The store was first launched online in 2018 and quickly followed in 2019 the opening of a first storefront in Montreal. The first collection of DDD products has been available since fall 2022.

Behind DDD is Luce Mainguy, a graphic designer and manager by training, passionate about the design of objects and products, formerly artistic director and manager in the Montreal digital industry.

DDD is an idea that germinated in the mind of the founder for a long time. After her university studies, she will stay in London to complete a course in product design at Central St. Martins University. At the same time, she discovered eco-design and the world of retail by working at The Conran Shop, by British designer Terence Conran. She returns to Quebec with the dream of one day opening her own store.

She would subsequently forge her career in the booming digital industry, but more than 13 years later, her dream of opening a store that would be in line with her values still persists. She finally decided to follow her passion and take the leap to officially launch DDD in 2018.
