Marin Blanc is a visual artist and graphic designer from Montreal. Through colorful collages and soft compositions, she takes an introspective and caring look at distress and an anxiety-provoking present.

Born in Hochelaga during the glory of Cash City, she settled there after traveling to the four corners of the city for her studies. His colorful collages are distinguished by the simplicity of forms and the balance between sensitivity and rigor. Its approach uses subtraction rather than addition, it thus aims to find the essential both in the form and in the subject addressed. With her gentle compositions, she takes an introspective and caring look at distress and an anxiety-provoking present. Bright colors and light backgrounds are used to build a positive image from negative and sometimes painful emotions. She explores the depreciated elements of photos and places to reinterpret and revalorize them. In 2015, she began a collage journal, a project which will be presented in solo and group exhibitions. Each year since then, she has brought together a dozen works which she presents in a calendar and during an exhibition. In addition to her personal production, she works as a freelance graphic designer in the cultural field, mainly for music. In all her projects, she aspires to make art accessible and beautify public spaces.
