Versatile container that can be used as a salt shaker or sugar bowl. Each piece, carefully crafted by hand, embodies a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Marie-Joël Turgeon founded Atelier Tréma in 2004 after studying visual and media arts at UQAM. Initially devoted to pictorial ceramics, she then focused her work on creating utilitarian tableware in collaboration with her husband, Jordan Lentink. Inspired by the seascapes of the Maritimes and the American East Coast, their collection evokes the horizon and the textures of objects patinated by the sea.
Based in Bedford, in the Eastern Townships, they now design practical and timeless everyday objects, this time drawing their inspiration from the history and heritage of their region.
