Kale also called 'Ragged Jack'. The deeply serrated leaves are gray-green in color with purple veins. Very good resistance to cold; the colder it is, the tastier, even sweeter, they are! Easy to grow and resistant to disease, Red Russian kale can reach up to 1 meter in height. Ancestral variety believed to have been introduced to Canada by Russian merchants.
