“I went into the woods because I wanted to live according to mature reflection, to face only the essential facts of life, and to see if I could not learn what it had to teach, so as not, when I came to die, to discover that I had not experienced. » (Henry David Thoreau, Walden or Life in the Woods , 1854)
After Little Geography of Escape , Thierry Pardo tirelessly continues his search for spaces of freedom. This time, he follows in the footsteps of the natural philosopher Henry David Thoreau and challenges our times with a new forest experience, in a house “without buttons”. His exploratory approach questions our relationship to the world, to nature and to silence without however cutting himself off from contemporary questions. How can we participate in the poetry of our life without getting lost in the concerns of our century? How can a small step aside and a jump in time connect Walden and Weedon and reinvent life in the woods?
In this brief poetic essay, Thierry Pardo invites us to contemplate the world differently.
