It comes in a carrying case made from recycled plastic. The tips are made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), a medical grade material, and the stem is a blend of fiberglass and polypropylene.

Directions: You can use it like a regular cotton swab and clean it between uses with mild soap and water.
