Memories of a peel

I grew up in an apple tree. I surrounded a large crunchy apple with my beautiful red skin. Horror ! This morning, a hand approaches us. With a single precise movement, a knife separates my apple and me. The hand turns me into a sort of twisted ribbon and I end up in the trash.

What will happen to me?
